Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Athletic Training from Western Illinois University in 2004 along with being a member of the Men's Track and Field team.

 

Currently he is starting his fourth season as Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Chicago Fire. He has served in roles as a Head Athletic Trainer for the Schaumberg Flyers as well as stints with the United States Soccer Federation.

 

Matt has previously interned with the Chicago Bears in 2007 along with working for Lincoln-Way East and Homewood Flossmoor High Schools. Zalewski is a member of the Professional Soccer Athletic Training Society. (PSATS) and the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA) along being a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist.
