Randy Noteboom joined the Sounders FC staff following three seasons as the Head Athletic Trainer for the USL-1 Sounders, from 2006-08. In 2010, his staff was named by MLS as the Athletic Training Staff of the Year. He is also a staff physical therapist and clinical specialist for Virginia Mason Sports Medicine, which he joined in 1985.
He graduated from the University of Washington in 1980 with a degree in kinesiology and a degree in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 1985. He received his athletic training certification from the NATA in 1982

Chris Cornish enters his third year with Sounders FC after gaining experience in the MLS with FC Dallas and D.C. United, and in the EPL with Fulham FC. Cornish, originally from Surrey, England, received his degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Hertfordshire. He worked as a sports therapist for Watford FC Academy and Kingstonian FC before going to Montana State University Billings, where he earned his Master’s in athletic training while playing two seasons for the Yellowjackets

Paul Lombardo is beginning his third season as the Assistant Athletic Trainer, after joining the club in July of 2011. Paul has been Certified Athletic Trainer since 2003. He calls two places home, the Pacific Northwest of Seattle, Washington and the deserts of Tucson, Arizona. He has previously worked as a Head Athletic Trainer at the high school level, with his high school Alma matter in Washington State, for four years, then moving on to the college level at Texas State University.
Paul continues to work on his Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Texas State University and has received his BS in Sports Injury Management with an emphasis in Athletic Training from University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2003.
Paul's credentials include the titles of ATC & LAT. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and PSATS (Professional Soccer Athletic Trainers Society). When not at work Paul enjoys hobbies such as golf and staying fit. Paul would like to acknowledge his mother Carmen and younger brother Andrew
